Instagram will now let users everywhere pin comments to the top of their posts in an effort to promote a healthier online conversation.

The feature is being introduced across the world after a test in May and lets users pin three comments to their posts which will appear at the top of each comment thread.

That test coincided with the ability to bulk delete old posts on Instagram and Facebook, its parent company. 

According to Instagram, the feature is being rolled out in an effort to help give users greater control over how conversations unfold on the platform by letting them promote positive comments over undesirable ones.
